A Night Alone

In the thickness of the night sits a lonely withered soul.
He shivers to the touch of the cold weather of the night.
Lost in his thoughts of a life with another.
How nice will he feel in the company of a partner.
A night to remember he stood aloof,
Never to let the thoughts bother any further.
