Hide and Seek

I'm here but you're nowhere near,
Day by day I dream about you,
As the sun comes up I wish to see you,
Come out dear, enough of the hide and seek,

She who will be mine is yet to surface,
Years and years of endless search,
And tons and thorns of rejections,
Nothing to sooth this lonely heart,
What will I do to find this connection?

I will end my sail and wait at bay,
On the handrail I will rest my hands and wait for bae,
For this heart is tired of playing hide and seek,
Come to me dear and you'll be welcomed,
Because this heart awaits nothing but your arrival.
